Loving lately in lutherville

Almost a decade ago, Tina started a Facebook group for residents of Lutherville-Timonium. For a few years, the group hung around with a few hundred members. Then the pandemic hit, and the Facebook group skyrocketed to over 3,500 members.

We’ve always been passionate about selling homes in our community [21093, the place to be], and will be embracing that energy even more in 2022. To that end, we are starting a regular feature: Loving Lately in Lutherville, where we will be highlighting some of our favorite homes in the area. First up, 522 Wyngate Rd in Wakefield | Timonium 21093. Wakefield is a neighborhood of beautifully constructed, classic homes on roomy lots close to Loch Raven Reservoir, next to Pine Ridge Golf Course, and just minutes to Towson.

Like most properties in the area, this home is older, built in 1965. It provides about 3,400 square feet (above grade) and sits on a one-acre lot. You can see (below) that a past owner took a traditional, older layout and opened up the main living area to make a great room.

The house was listed for $1.195 million and sold in just three days for $1.225 million. Yes- the market is still that hot!

A few more things we love about this home: quality, traditional construction- it has a slate roof and copper gutters as well as lovely finishes like plantation shutters and custom wall moldings.

An acre lot is rare in this zip code, but this home not only has a one-acre lot, but also a dream yard, complete with a beautiful swimming pool and custom hardscaping and landscaping.
